The Stews

The Auburn, Alabama band The Stews have fully absorbed the style, the charm, and the vocabulary of the '70s era rock with a pronounced southern sway. They project an organic, often old-school rock sound that is especially up front and center in their jammed segments, where they regularly conjure up some very down-to-earth classic vibes. They have a softer side too, with upbeat tunes that allow the catchier side of their songwriting shine more. The band infuses plenty of warmth into their songs, and maintain a fluid delivery while vocalist Preston Hall can turn the gruff on his voice up and down as needed.
