The harmonizing real life sisters Lydia and Laura Rogers are The Secret Sisters from Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Their music taps into a range of styles in country music from the '50s era classic style to more pop-infused contemporary approach. Their vocal harmonies stand out in particular. They are also quite effective in their covers, from inspired song choices to the Americana type spin they give to the songs, e.g., their 2021 EP Quicksand and their version of PJ Harvey's "Pocket Knife". They have been working with Brandi Carlile quite a bit over the years, as a co-writer and producer. Their songs are always put together with a lot of attention to detail. Their 2020 album, Saturn Return, earned them some critical acclaim.
