PVA

PVA is a London based electronic dance band whose music grafts some major new wave elements onto their techno inspired style. They also have bits of disco, synth pop, and some downtempo in their bag of tricks that they mix and match as they go, including a harsher post punk sound that is brought out in some of their remixes. Their songs are rich with hooks and have some inventive arrangements. The band is led by co-vocalists Josh Baxter and Ellis Harris trading lines between synths and guitars as well as swapping leads. Harris has a slightly disaffected, distant style in her delivery, while Baxter is more direct as they both speak-sing in tones that add more flavor to the band's ultra-cool club allure.
