Punch the Sky

Punch the Sky is a band with strong party vibes playing a style of music that is an amalgamation of classic exuberant, good times rock and themes from Eastern Europe performed with a western slant. The result is distinctive high energy sound that bursts out of the speakers with the intent to start a shindig. The key component that drives their eastern tones in their line-up is the saxophonist duo Jake Thornton (alto) and Ben Hill (soprano), who tap into a mixture of klezmer and Roma styles. The other members of the band are also locked into the same wavelength, upping the ante as the festivity rolls along as they continue to feed the fire.
