Pissed Jeans

Pissed Jeans is a band whose music attacks in waves of hardcore noise that goes back and forth between a manic punk feel and aggressive heavy rock riffing. They often operate on overdrive, at the verge of chaos. That said, their more recent work has been ever so slightly shifting towards a relatively structured style and adopting overt hooks. Lyrically, vocalist Matt Korvette clearly has some profound grievances with about every aspect of modern life, and has no reservations about blasting his way through them with sarcasm and dry wit. The guitars are abrasive and screeching, while the rhythm section ruthlessly pounds away in a frantic pace. Members pursue their musical career mostly as a side gig, which goes a long way towards explaining the intermittent nature of their output, and who knows, maybe also what fuels their sound.
