Ozomatli

Ozomatli has been delivering a wide array of musical styles, trends, and traditions that can be found in the Los Angeles music scene since 1995. The base they build on is salsa, for sure. But they have been mixing it with mariachi, funk, hip-hop, ska, roots rock, and more recently, reggae ... because, why not? If it works in your backyard party and gets the crowd moving, Ozomatli is on it. They are a tirelessly upbeat, sunny, and energetic band that has perfected their repertoire and execution over the years, effortlessly slipping between genres as the moment demands. They do calm down occasionally and start singing ballads, but otherwise they are usually a ball of fun bouncing off the walls.
