Meatraffle

Meatraffle is a band with strong garage and lo-fi elements that combine post-punk inspired indie pop with various electronic music and dub elements, and makes things more interesting by putting their sci-fi curious unabashedly out there socialism as the bow on top. The band's sound is fairly eccentric, the tunes are deceptively catchy, and their lyrics, humorous and clever. Their music has a rolling flow that feels like the band is just jamming, especially with the way bassist Cloudy Truffles keeps the swing (band members all use monikers). Vocalist Zsa Zsa Sapiens sings like someone who would rather not be saying what he is saying, which is delicious, while his trumpet adds a nice texture to their grooves with an occasional jazzy turn, backed by Tingle Mackerel's similarly gentle chords on the guitar.
