Loops & Loops

Loops & Loops is the project musician Peter Bogolub started in 2020 during the isolation of the pandemic lockdown. His work has been following an arc towards ambient sounds and meditative music built on electronic effects and loops. The music is not necessarily intended as relaxing mood music, but comes with a certain backgrounded quality.  His earlier work was more in line with the lo-fi, singer-songwriter type music consisting of serene ballads with a melancholic edge and catchy tunes, sung in a quiet, murmured voice recorded with a hazy reverb layer on the vocals. He also has some work that is instrumental and lies between these two ends. His current output, though, appears to be tightly focused on ambient music,
