Jeverson Ramirez is a singer-songwriter originally from Grenada but currently based in Nashville. He combines funk and R&B along the lines of Silk Sonic, with a sharp ear towards soulful melodies and strong grooves that also benefit from his pop know-how. He frequently goes for a big sound in his songs. His self-titled 2022 EP is a bag of assorted gems where he taps into a retro R&B/soul sound, full on Caribbean vibes, as he also tip his hat to artists like Prince and James Brown. His voice can go back and forth between coarse and smooth with great delivery and also feels right at home in his gospel pieces.
