Jason Didner

Jason Didner is a Montclair, New Jersey based multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter whose songs have a strong affinity towards a pop-oriented and mostly hard rock flavored sound of roughly the mid '70s. Threads of heartland rock also make an appearance regularly. His songs have a strong melodic core, and they are built around central riffs, but the driving force behind his work is his lyrics. Typically on the humorous side, Didner takes on any and all aspects of modern life, modern society, and every day politics with great gusto and good-natured fun. He keeps it upbeat and uptempo with spirited enthusiasm that does not seem to be fazed or gotten cynical over time. His earlier recording, 2003's American Road, contains songs that are far more earnest in tone, clearly reflecting the somber tone of its time.
