Dining Dead

Dining Dead is a band that plays indie rock with a strong pop flavor and some jangle. Though not necessarily angular, their music comes with a bit of a twitch in its flow, and a tendency to mix things up during the course of a song. Their transitions tend to be more fluid and natural side, as opposed to jarring. The band is built around the core duo of guitarists Sammy Skidmore and Emma Hayes, who regularly pull from a variety of influences, including an occasional visit to the surf rock territory, or insert some dark western motifs. The addition of keyboardist/violinist Kennedy Webb around 2024 added an extra texture to their sound.
