Calimossa

Calimossa is Tomás Pascali, a multi-instrumentalist electronic artist and producer who adopts a hybrid sound that combines a variety of genres with club and hip-hop based beats providing the backbone of his work. He also turns to a laid back form of funk at times, incorporates R&B textures into his music, but most of all, he draws a great deal from a range of Latin beats. So there is quite a bit of stylistic diversity to his music, held together by his consistently chill tone that acts as a unifying theme. He leans towards a mellow sway in his grooves, mostly at the mid-tempo level, instead of pushing big dance beats. His songs are melodically strong, temperamentally measured, delivered with his nice and smooth vocals.
