Buzzy Lee

Buzzy Lee is the stage name used by singer-songwriter and actor Sasha Spielberg (yep, that Spielberg), whose music is a form of pop at its core, though with some relatively uncommon features. She has an ambient-like touch that gives her songs an airy flow. There is also a young Kate Bush flavor to her music, especially in her vocals, except Lee tends to be on the more relaxed and less angsty side. Her earlier work tended to be quite serene, even perhaps sleepy to some extent, but she picked up the pace on 2023's Internal Affairs, added some beats (and gentle ones at that, nothing aggressive) and shifted towards a more up-tempo style. The argument can be made that this move also helped underscore the robustness of her melodies as well.
