Boombox Cartel

Boombox Cartel is electronic dance music DJs Americo Garcia and Jorge Medina, who first made their name in St. Paul, Minnesota before they moved to Los Angeles. Garcia is the only member who performs live since Medina works mostly behind the scenes as a writing partner. Their music has quite a broad range that includes electronically generated dance loops, breakbeats, as well as songs with conventional structure, some of them involving lyrical and emotionally engaging melodic layers.
