Bisa Kdei

Bisa Kdei is Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah, an Accra, Ghana based singer-songwriter and highlife artist who stands out with his vibrant, colorful sound. He combines an upbeat, uplifting edge with a romantic flair whether he is delivering relatively low-key, low tempo ballads or going all in on his signature dance grooves. He has been steadily embracing Afrofusion influences in his music in recent years, as well as incorporating hip-hop and R&B to give his work more breadth. His 2023 album Original strikes an especially good balance between his highlife background and contemporary Afropop, and serves it with a string of impressive guest artists.
