ATLiens are an Atlanta-based DJ duo who are part of the electronic dance music scene, mixing dubstep, electro house, and trap with heavy emphasis on the bass. They keep their identities a secret, always appearing behind their masks, and never speaking in their interviews. Their music is filled with series of futuristic soundscapes with overtly sci-fi themes and dark, nightmarish, and menacing tones. They are not necessarily upbeat and dance oriented, but weigh more on the experimental side. They add electronically modified voices delivering spoken phrases interspersed throughout their pieces.
