Adia Victoria is a Nashville-based rock and blues artist whose musicals style tends to be part southern rock and part gothic blues. She hit the ground running in 2016 with her first single Stuck in the South, and has been putting out a series of well-received albums since then. She has a distinct, smoky, and sweet voice. She has been a versatile songwriter from the start (see Invisible Hands, Mexico Blues) and puts together songs with strong lyrics and melodies. Her overall sound keeps getting more refined in each album, and her songs getting more confident. She has been broadening her scope with respect to her orchestral and instrumentation choices (see 2019's Silences) including an occasional string or brass section and electronic effects. That said, a mixture of guitar-based roots rock and southern blues seems to have remained her anchor thus far.
