The Wiltern is as historic venue in Los Angeles that got its name from the intersection of the two major streets it is located at: Wilshire and Western. It is one of the many Art Deco landmarks in the city. It is a beautiful venue with highly ornate ceiling and walls that was built in 1931, renovated in 1983. It has been a historic place in the US National Register and was designated as a historic-cultural monument by LA. It has served as a fully functional theater for decades, though its modern usage is heavily geared towards musical events and comedy shows. It is a seated venue with great acoustics that also contains a large stage area, and a balcony that slopes at a slightly high angle that gives the audience a clear view of the stage.

There are several parking lots in the area. The most convenient lot is the Ralph's parking structure located south and east of the theatre on Oxford street. Enter only thru the Northern entrance- not the Ralphs entrance. Parking is generally $20 per car
