Asheville Yards
Outline
Asheville Yards is an outdoor concert and event venue in downtown Asheville, NC. It started out as Rabbit Rabbit, a joint venture between venerable club The Orange Peel and Asheville Pizza & Brewing Co, which is adjacent to the venue. As a result of an ongoing dispute between those 2 entities, the Orange Peel is no longer involved in the venture and the name has been changed.
It tends to host well-established indie acts that have significant followings that would quickly sell out or overwhelm smaller venues but may not warrant an arena-sized venue. In other words, it fills a gap in the concert venue landscape while providing a great, festival-like atmosphere.
There is a large parking garage a block north of Rabbit Rabbit, with the entrance on Sears Alley. There are also multiple surface lots nearby, not to mention street parking.
There is a food truck on site offering tacos, burritos and snacks and you may bring food from Asheville Pizza & Brewing next door if they are open. There are also 3-4 drink stands.
While being outdoors allows for a relatively large capacity, being both outdoors and downtown means relatively early showtimes, since performances are required to end by 10 pm sharp. Weather, of course, is also a potential factor and the venue's policy is that shows are rain or shine unless there is severe weather such as lightning or high winds, in which case a refund may be offered.

History
Whether planned or not, an outdoor venue opening during the pre-vaccine days of the COVID 19 pandemic, as Rabbit Rabbit did in August 2020, proved to be advantageous timing, providing a relatively safe escape from isolation by hosting movie nights and other events in addition to concerts.
