Alex's Bar is a classic dive bar in Long Beach, California that is a favorite venue for a mixture of punk, rock, and ska acts. Despite being such a small place and being a bit out of the way, the place has been able to attract some well-known bands in the 15 years that it has been in the business. The stage is a little small and squeezed at the corner, but the floor is spacious enough for a local bar, with even some rustic, coffee shop type furniture at one corner. There is a good collection of drinks and the overall vibe is comfortable and friendly, which is paired with the loud music on stage.
