Volk

Volk is the Nashville based drums/guitar duo, i.e., Eleot Reich and Chris Lowe, respectively, who describe their music as "cowpunk and glam rock", which is pretty descriptive of their act.  What they sound like to untrained ears, on the other hand, is balls to the wall rock' n roll mixed with country, blues, and yep, some glam rock just happy to jump into the dogpile. Their music is practically end-to-end loud and rough guitar riffs (not quite AC/DC but just about) backed by loud, rough, and frankly delicious drum attacks, plus two singers who can growl, howl, and belt with the best of them. They are a highly energetic band that takes American roots music out of its comfort zone and brings it back into its old messy, confrontational self, which is probably a fancy way of saying cowpunk and glam rock.
