Mauvey

Mauvey is the stage name used by singer-songwriter Ransford Laryea, who was born in Ghana, grew up in the UK, and is now based in Vancouver. His dance oriented pop music is infused with strong R&B and soul vibes melodically. His beats are varied to the extent that he may come across as a bit experimental at times. He is adventurous with respect to his sonic textures. There are also some quiet nods at modern West African pop that surfaces in his music on occasion. His songs come with the right hooks, a melodic flow, bright production, and a sweeping sound and his delivery is dramatically heightened whether it is in his vocals or overall presentation.
