Highly Suspect

Highly Suspect is a band that is originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts known for their hybrid grunge revival meets mainstream rock sound that they occasionally sweeten with their often pop-friendly melodies. The core of the band is the trio Johnny Stevens, who plays high-powered guitar and rocks out on the vocals, and the Meyer brothers (twins actually) Ryan and Rich on drums and bass, respectively, who give the songs plenty of solid foundation. The band's typically raw sound took a back seat on their 2019 album MCID, where the band turned to a synth-driven dance friendly style and began genre sampling often with guests like Young Thug and Gojira. Their more recent single releases suggest a return to their harsher, more aggressive roots.
