Runnner (with three 'n's) is the moniker used by singer-songwriter Noah Weinman who plays a calm, soothing, and a bit brooding indie folk highly conducive to drifting along and getting lost in thoughts. There is a pastoral quality to the music that evokes a sense of natural spaces, which somewhat contrasts with the way his songs often relate to life's mundane moments in an intensely inward looking, personal manner. He sings in a soft, bashful voice that rises about a single notch above the instruments, against the backdrop of his apparent affinity towards lo-or loish-fi recordings. His 2021 album Always Repeating combines the reworked versions of the first half of his 2017 album awash and his 2020 EP one of one in its entirety.
