Orions Belte

Orions Belte is a trio with an eclectic style of music that brings together a broad range of influences, including surf rock, dub, '70s Nigerian rock, funk, and jazz. The source of this diversity became apparent when members released their solo albums in 2022 (under the band's name) and their divergent tastes were revealed. As much as their music has a little bit of everything, they are able to forge a fairly consistent sound that is very much in the same ballpark as Khruangbin's work. They have a similar easy-going and chill style with an emphasis on the groove and the vibe. The songs are mostly instrumental mid-tempo gems with a slightly wobbly feel just below the surface and an abundance of melodies that they wear on their sleeves.
