Nope, not Hector B but the DJ/producer formerly known as Ted Jasper, aka Jasper Attlee when he's neither. His work essentially combines pop jazz with house music. He merges live instruments, bringing in a strong bass, piano, and often a saxophone to interact with his dance oriented electronic production. The resulting jazz is on the softer side, without too many sharp edges and perhaps a bit loungey, though it is highly effective given the way his sound is structured. There are also spoken word fragments he incorporates in his track that brings out an extra dimension. The music is melodically strong and fairly groovy as one would expect.
